Earlier this week Karine Jean-Pierrre, the White House Press Secretary stated that the president would not take a congnitive test as part of his physical. This comes after a report from Special Counsel Robery Hur that claimed President Biden had significant memory issues. House secretary believes the president proves his cognitive abilites every day in how he speaks and acts.

But these concerns come after several bouts of confusion or memory issues displayed from Biden. This TikTok is just one example of Biden mixing up the names of Mexico and Eygpts presidents in a press conference.
Audiences on TikTok have not taken this well. It proves President Biden memory is not as sharp as the White House makes it seem. During the press conference he never corrected this mistake, only continued to assure his memory was fine. Commenters under this video state, "in an effort to prove his memory is fine he proceeds to demonstrate it's not in the next breath."
I think it is unfortunate that much of the U.S. population feels our current president is not in the best state to do his job. It is a scary reality that our country is being ran by people post retirement age. You can retire at 65 and our president is 81 years old.
